Assistant Store Manager, Key Holders, Sales Associates, Seasonal Employees, and other store personnel as assigned.
The Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operation of Threads Clothing Co. The Store Manager drives sales performance, delivers exceptional customer experiences, develops employees, maintains visual merchandising standards, and ensures efficient store operations.
This role serves as the leader of the boutique and is responsible for creating a welcoming, customer-focused environment while achieving sales, profitability, inventory, and operational goals. The Store Manager plays a critical role in building customer relationships, fostering team engagement, and bringing the Threads brand to life each day.

As Store Manager, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the culture, customer experience, and future growth of a rapidly growing local business while leading a team that is passionate about fashion, people, and community.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop store employees.
Create a positive, engaging, and accountable team culture.
Conduct onboarding, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
Provide ongoing feedback and recognition.
Address performance concerns and administer corrective action when necessary.
Lead by example in customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
Drive achievement of sales goals and performance metrics.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
Coach employees on customer engagement and selling techniques.
Promote loyalty, repeat business, and customer retention.
Support execution of promotions, events, and sales initiatives.
Ensure every customer receives an exceptional shopping experience.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat visits.
Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and customer-focused environment.
Support community engagement and local events.
Oversee daily store operations.
Manage opening and closing procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate cash handling and point-of-sale operations.
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and overall store presentation.
Monitor operational efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
Oversee receiving, inventory control, and stock management.
Monitor inventory accuracy and loss prevention efforts.
Support purchasing, replenishment, and merchandise flow.
Conduct inventory counts and audits as required.
Execute merchandising standards established by company leadership.
Maintain attractive displays and product presentation.
Ensure seasonal and promotional merchandise is displayed appropriately.
Support visual storytelling that enhances the customer experience.
Create employee schedules that support business needs.
Manage labor hours responsibly.
Ensure adequate staffing coverage.
Approve time-off requests consistent with company policy.
Monitor attendance and scheduling compliance.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous retail leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in boutique, fashion, apparel, or specialty retail.
Experience with inventory management systems.
Experience with visual merchandising.
Experience with scheduling and labor management.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 40 pounds.
Ability to climb ladders and perform merchandising activities.
Ability to operate retail technology and point-of-sale systems.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
