Threads is looking for a creative, organized, and outgoing Marketing & Events Assistant to help us find new ways to get Threads involved in the community, create fun customer experiences, and support our growing boutique.
This is a flexible, hybrid position with up to 5 hours per week, with the possibility of helping at select in-store events or pop-ups based on availability and scheduling.
Reach out to local businesses, organizations, and event coordinators about in-store events, collaborations, and pop-up opportunities
Research upcoming local events, markets, festivals, and community opportunities that could be a good fit for Threads
Track and organize potential events and opportunities for future planning
Research current retail, marketing, event, and social media trends
Brainstorm unique in-store promotions, sales, events, and customer experiences
Assist with planning and organizing Threads events, pop-ups, and collaborations
Help identify creative ways for Threads to connect with the local community and bring new customers through the door
Create small-batch marketing content for timely promotions, events, collaborations, new arrivals, and other Threads moments
Help capture or put together simple social content when needed, including photos, videos, Stories, and short-form content
Creative thinker who loves coming up with new ideas
Organized and able to keep track of multiple opportunities and details
Comfortable reaching out to businesses and event organizers
Interested in fashion, retail, marketing, events, and/or social media
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable representing the Threads brand
Local to the Chippewa Valley and familiar with the local community is a plus
Up to 5 hours per week
Hybrid: some work can be completed remotely, with occasional in-person work at Threads
Flexible scheduling
Occasional event/pop-up work may be available depending on your availability
